Sixteen weeks have officially gone by and we have now reached the final overall rankings. We have seen a higher increase in parity than any other season, so compiling these weekly rankings, week after week was tough. It wasn’t as easy as it used to be. I wanted to give credit for players for stepping up and playing really well every week. I also wanted to give players who rarely get attention the credit they deserve, so that readers were aware of the talent in women’s college basketball. I also gave credit every week in the honourable mentions to players in the mid-major conferences that were stepping up and working hard.
For the Final Overall Rankings, it was extremely difficult because there’s so many terrific players this season that I know are worthy of being on this list and did not make it. One of the criteria for my rankings is to look at the records as well as the conferences the players play in. Listed below are the Women’s College Basketball Final Overall Rankings for the 2022/2023 season.
