Asia Cup Division B Game 3 August 15th

Group A:

The group stage concluded on Tuesday and the first game was for the top spot in this group and the resulting automatic spot in the semifinals. Indonesia trailed heading into the fourth quarter, but Kim Pierre-Louis proved to be the difference again in their 65-56 win over Iran. The next game was for the chance to remain in championship contention or to get dropped down to the last place game and Fook Yee Yap led Malaysia again, building up a lead on their way to an 85-68 win over Mongolia.

Group B:

Tamara Yagodkina and Kazakhstan knew that they would need a massive win to improve their position in the standings, but it did not happen as Aisha Sheppard was absolutely everywhere for Jordan, securing a 74-65 win and not sending the top spot to a tiebreaker. Sri Lanka needed their own enormous win to avoid the last place game and it was not forthcoming and they lost to Thailand 101-36.
