Turkish League Round 10 November 15th-16th
A midweek round was played after the international break with three games on Wednesday. Tuba Poyraz continues to be one of the domestic storylines as she and Kiana Williams helped new-look Bursa edge Botas 88-85. Emma Cannon was unstoppable in Nesibe Aydin’s 98-68 win over Katrina Pardee and Hatay. Vionese Pierre-Louis and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough paced Cankaya University in a 96-87 win Damiris Dantas, Goksen Fitik, and Orman. On Thursday, G’mrice Davis had a strong debut for Tarsus alongside Danielle Robinson, but Khaalia Hillsman and Izmit left with an 87-83 win. NaLyssa Smith was able to make her overseas debut for Galatasaray and Hind Ben Abdelkader was well rested and they defeated Destanni Henderson and Antalya 87-75. Cukurova won at Kayseri 80-52 behind Marina Mabrey. Fenerbahce extended their lead at the top of the standings with Emma Meesseman and Yvonne Anderson leading them past Jovana Nogic and their other Istanbul rivals Besiktas 80-62.

Spanish League Round 7 November 16th
A full round of games was played on Thursday after the international break, starting with Araski’s 64-56 win over Jade Loville and Gran Canaria. Billie Massey helped Estudiantes win the battle against her twin Becky and Ibaeta 73-62. Leigha Brown was able to find a new team and make her overseas debut and she and Julia Soler helped Sedis keep Celta winless 74-69. Ferrol’s strong start almost led to another win, but Zaragoza clamped down in the second half to prevail 63-57. Girona left Lugo with a 77-54 win over Ensino. Bembibre’s struggles continued with an 80-44 loss to Crystal Bradford and Gernika. The two newcomers from last year faced off in Murcia and Barcelona edged Jairis 66-64. The most anticipated game was certainly at the end of the day in Salamanca and Sika Kone and Avenida pulled away from Valencia in the second half for a 71-56 win.
