The round started on Wednesday with Jade Melbourne’s good game for Canberra not being enough with Lauren Nicholson and Sydney winning 86-81. Aari McDonald’s fantastic start continued for Perth in an 86-76 win over Bendigo. Isobel Borlase showed what she can do again on Saturday, leading Adelaide past Southside 67-56. Alice Kunek fired Townsville past Jade Melbourne and Canberra 85-73. On Sunday, Kelsey Griffin and Bendigo started fantastically, but Jordin Canada and Melbourne rallied at home in the fourth quarter and won 76-74 in the battle of Froling twins.
