Group A:
A full Wednesday of games included the battle of first and worst in this group and Nikolina Milic and Kayla McBride provided the scoring while Emma Messeman quickly racked up a triple-double and Fenerbahce rolled past Sepsi 110-63. Marie Gulich had a good game for Valencia, but they lost to DVTK 67-56 setting up next week’s game in Miskolc between the last two undefeated teams in the competition. Zaragoza had a dreadful start, but clamped down for the rest of the game and won 56-51 against Schio in a battle of teams trying to be in more secure spots in the top four. With a stronger roster, Lyon was ready for their first win, but nearly let it slip through their fingers before getting the final basket to prevail 73-72 against Elin Gustavsson and Lublin.

Group B:
Shorthanded Gyor came out of the gates ready to spring an upset on Cukurova early in Mersin, but Marina Mabrey and the hosts controlled the rest of the game for a 75-63 win. The two French teams battled with Landes looking to get back on track, but Villeneuve-d’Ascq built a lead in the second half to win 74-61. The break had given USK Praha time to get their injured players back and two domestic league games to integrate them into the lineup and the group leaders looked frightening in a 90-69 win over Ivana Dojkic and Virtus Bologna. Sika Kone and Avenida further contributed to the crowd in the middle of the standings with a 75-66 win over Polkowice in Salamanca.
