This group started with a game in Mersin that saw Marina Mabrey lead Cukurova, but Villeneuve-d’Ascq left with an impressive 70-54 win. Polkowice defeated Landes 88-72 to move into a tie with the two teams above them. Emese Hof and USK Praha took advantage of other results and moved into a nearly perfectly secure position with a 75-71 win over Gyor. In Salamanca, Avenida missed the chance to be part of the tie for the three other spots, letting Bologna also capture the tiebreaker with a 62-58 win.
