Polish League Round 22 February 23rd-24th
The last round of the regular season started on Friday with Polkowice gathering the squad that they anticipate fielding in the playoffs, but they did not have maximum momentum as the top seed after losing to Quinn Dornstauder and Zaglebie Sosnowiec 73-65. Gorzow got back to full strength with the return of the scoring title winner and Stephanie Jones and Elena Tsineke made sure that they would not get a late seeding flip with a 96-86 win over Angel Baker and Sleza Wroclaw. On Saturday, Lublin defeated Klaudia Sosnowska and Polonia Warszawa 79-63. Asia Strong and Jowita Ossowska led Torun in a 92-71 win over Bydgoszcz. Pruszkow’s tough season finally ended with an 84-59 loss to Poznan.

All of the games in this round were on Saturday, starting with Bridget Carleton and Gyor defeating PEAC 98-88. Kathryn Westbeld and Szekszard controlled the fourth quarter to win 75-60 and avoid an upset bid from Vasas. In Miskolc, DVTK also had to hold firm and stayed perfect with a 64-58 win even though Fanni Szabo was excellent for MTK. Cegled is no closer to their first win after an 80-45 loss to Sopron. Kolby Morgan and BEAC ended the day by edging Szigetszentmiklos, which was led by Martyna Petrenaite and Santa Baltkojiene, 75-74.
