EuroLeague Quarterfinals Game 2

All of the series continued on Wednesday with home teams needing wins to force deciding games next Wednesday and visiting teams looking to finish their sweeps and advance. DVTK looked ready to advance early, but Janelle Salaun stepped up for Villeneuve-d’Ascq in a 63-59 win to stay alive. Schio was able to built a lead by halftime and then broke it open for a more comfortable 73-61 win over USK Praha to avoid elimination. The closest game of the day saw Zaragoza just hang on to a 57-56 win over Cukurova to force another game. Avenida looked set to make it a perfect day for the hosts early, but Fenerbahce roared out of the break and won 73-67 to complete the only sweep.

Hungarian Cup Quarterfinal

Another quarterfinal was played on Wednesday and a good game from Kolby Morgan was not enough for BEAC to match the depth of Gyor, which rolled to a 114-82 win.
