Polish League Semifinals Game 1 March 5th

Both semifinals started on Tuesday with Sleza Wroclaw looking to seize momentum as they were the only team coming off short rest from the last round. The combination of Lexi Held and Schaquilla Nunn had them looking to upset the top seed, but Brianna Fraser helped Polkowice fight back and prevail 105-96 after two overtimes. A road win also looked likely early in the other game, but Elena Tsineke and Gorzow wiped out the deficit in the third quarter for a 74-72 win over Arka Gdynia. The teams will swap venues on Thursday with the home teams trying to stay in championship contention and the road teams looking to complete sweeps and advance.
