With the championship being decided in a sweep, the last game of the season would be the second game in this series. After losing the home game, Sleza Wroclaw needed a win and had tied up the aggregate after three quarters. Laura Miskiniene and Rennia Davis helped Arka Gdynia reestablish control in the fourth quarter and an 80-77 win was enough to push the final margin out to 142-133 in their favor.

A game from two rounds in the future was moved forward to Wednesday in Madrid and Estudiantes defeated Ensino 74-68. Almost all of this round was played on Saturday, including Girona’s 78-57 win at Ibaeta. Avenida stayed at the top of the standings with a 67-52 win over Barcelona. Jairis won 69-63 at Gernika to keep the playoff chase tight. Valencia defeated Celta 73-48. Ferrol stayed in the playoff chase with a 70-42 win over Isabelle Gradwell and Bembibre. Araski avoided falling too far behind with a 57-53 in Lugo over Ensino. Gran Canaria’s magical run continued and a 78-72 win over Estudiantes left them tied for the last safe spot at the end of the day. Sunday’s game was an easy 101-62 win for Zaragoza over Sedis.

This round started with a pair of games on Friday and Bourges won at Angers 70-57. Dominique Malonga helped Tarbes win 78-61 against reeling Roche. Landerneau had been granted a reprieve on their points deduction, but lost to Charnay 91-82 on Saturday. Villeneuve-d’Ascq rolled past depleted Lyon 97-62. Landes eventually built some breathing room to finish the day with a 60-53 win over Saint-Amand. Lattes Montpellier improved their chances at homecourt advantage for a round of the playoffs with a 79-70 win over Charleville-Mezieres.

The penultimate round of the regular season was mainly played on Saturday and the tough season was almost done for Hatay as Nuran Tutsak was their leading scorer in a 143-81 loss to Gintare Petronyte, Aysegul Gunay, Aaryn Ellenberg-Wiley, and Kayseri. Lyndra Weaver and Botas maintained their hold on the last playoff spot with an 85-68 win over Destanni Henderson and Antalya. Sug Sutton and Orman got a big 78-77 win over Teaira McCowan and Galatasaray in the chase for the 2 seed. Izmit was the first team to finish their regular season and were paced by Jaime Nared and Khaalia Hillsman in a 113-104 win over Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, Nathalie Fontaine, and Cankaya University. Tarsus lost their last chance to move up the standings, falling to Nesibe Aydin 88-52. Kahleah Copper and Marina Mabrey led Cukurova to a 93-80 win during the week that they learned that they would be hosting the continental championship. On Sunday, big games for Dana Evans and Li Yueru helped Besiktas offset a triple-double from Shaqwedia Wallace and scoring from Channon Fluker and Kiana Williams to defeat Bursa 87-79.

Hungarian Cup
After all of the quarterfinals were conducted, the remaining four teams headed to Gyor for the final two games. The first semifinal on Saturday saw Jelena Brooks lead Sopron in winning 73-67 to avoid an upset attempt by Vasas. DVTK continued to stay perfect domestically, defeating Gyor 80-69 behind Reka Lelik. Sunday started with the bronze medal game that Gyor won 79-54 over Vasas. That led up to the championship game and Sopron proved that they were not ready to loosen their grip on the rest of the competition domestically, edging DVTK 73-71.
