This round started on Saturday with Sassari’s 82-68 win over Quinn Dornstauder and Sanga Milano. There were plenty of surprises on Sunday, starting with Ciera Johnson leading Battipaglia past San Martino di Lupari 91-76. Ragusa got contributions up and down the lineup in an 83-68 win over Brixia. The top seed is far from settled after Venezia lost to Campobasso 54-47. Schio looked strong in a 90-37 win over Faenza. The round finished on Tuesday with Ezinne Kalu and Oxygen Roma losing to Bologna 88-62.
