Italian League Playout Semifinals Game 2
One series continued on Wednesday with Sanga Milano trying to still win this series to avoid having to play for survival directly. They looked solid early, but Maddie Garrick and Brixia had the better of the second half to win 75-65 and finish their season with a top division spot. There will be a deciding game on Sunday as Liz Dixon and Faenza could not also secure safety on Thursday, falling 69-56 at Battipaglia.

French League Semifinals Game 1
Both semifinals series started on Thursday with the second games set for Sunday. The first game was hosted by Tarbes and the youngsters had another upset on their mind early against a more established team. They had a big lead before Landes took the lead by halftime, but the home team had the better second half to win 67-62 and leave plenty of intrigue for the second game. Having to make a big lineup change in the playoffs could have been trouble for Villeneuve-d’Ascq, but the top seed took control early and looks pretty set for the finals after Kamiah Smalls paced them in a 95-64 win at Lattes Montpellier.

French League Playdowns Game 3
The halfway point was reached after the completion of the first round-robin on Thursday. As long as Charleville-Mezieres fulfills their remaining games, they are safe now after an 82-58 win. Their opponents Saint-Amand cannot say that, sinking to the bottom of the standings with no momentum at all towards getting a win. Landerneau has overcome their point deductions, sitting a point above the teams at the bottom with all the momentum after a 70-42 win over Roche, which sits in a safe spot despite its own points deduction.
