Hungarian League Finals Game 2

Other than the championship series, all matchups would result in deciding games or sweeps on Saturday. The day started in Ujbuda with Barbara Angyal and BEAC trying to extend their season in the race for 7th place, but MTK forced overtime and prevailed 84-82. Vasas made an attempt to extend their series late, but PEAC took the consolation bracket with a 77-73 win. Sopron did not want their season to end and Jelena Brooks was brilliant in an emphatic 78-43 win over Szekszard to stay in the hunt for the bronze medal. DVTK is one win from the championship after a 97-62 win over Gyor.

Italian League Semifinals Game 1

Both semifinals series started on Saturday with the next game in each matchup scheduled for Wednesday. Ragusa was the only team to pull off a seeding upset in the first round, but could not keep up with Schio, losing 76-54. Top seed Venezia also won comfortably as Awak Kuier paced them in an 82-63 triumph over Campobasso.
