Hungarian League Finals Game 3

Gyor tried to stay in championship contention on Tuesday, but DVTK proved to be too strong, finishing a finals sweep with a 66-56 win. That meant that the last game of the season was actually Wednesday’s bronze medal series decider and it was Jacinta Monroe and Szekszard that got the 91-75 win over Klaudia Papp and Sopron.

Italian League Semifinals Game 2

Both series continued on Wednesday with home teams trying to extend their seasons and visiting teams looking to advance to the finals. Campobasso kept it close, but could not avoid the sweep, losing to top seed Venezia 66-63. Neither team was at full strength in the other game, but Ragusa looked set to force a deciding game until late when Schio rallied to avoid another game and escaped with a 68-67 win.
