Playdowns Game 5 May 10th
Friday was the critical day in this stage with the final set of games on Tuesday possibly not having any effect. Roche could clinch safety with a win with simultaneous tipoffs meaning that they could not know ahead of time what would happen. Ornella Bankole and Charleville-Mezieres did not oblige, winning 77-68 even though they were already safe. The other game ended up not even being remotely competitive and Saint-Amand was not even close to pulling out of danger, losing 85-38 to Landerneau.

Finals Game 1
The championship series started on Saturday and the format meant that Landes would host the first game despite the worse regular season record, giving them the opportunity to start the series strong. The home team controlled the first half, but Villeneuve-d’Ascq roared back and won 70-66. The top seed will now get two chances to win the championship at home, hoping for the quick sweep on Friday.
