The final day started in this group and Senegal had already advanced as winners, but Ndioma Kane helped them continue their momentum with an 87-62 win over the Philippines. The other game had a place in the semifinals on the line and Virag Kiss and Hungary seized that spot with an 87-66 win over Emanuely De Oliveira and Brazil.

In this group, Agostina Burani and Argentina eliminated Lebanon, leaving themselves waiting for the result of the last game of the day. Great Britain quickly took the lead on Rwanda and then maintained the margin at a point where both teams would advance and a 75-61 win was enough for them to top the group too.

The first game in this group was between eliminated teams and New Zealand rested their two stars, but Lauren Whittaker led them past Mozambique 79-63. The last game of the day would determine Saturday’s matchups and it needed overtime to be decided as Milica Jovanovic helped Montengro withstand Mexico’s latest late game surge behind Gabriela Jaquez to win 74-71.
