Polish Super Cup

The season started with the first trophy being awarded on Wednesday. Alexis Peterson had Polkowice looking strong in the first half, but Laura Miskiniene helped Lublin dominate the second half on their way to a 94-74 win, giving the cup runners up the early payback against the cup and league winners and a second straight win in this event.

Hungarian League Round 2

Another full round of games was played on Wednesday before continental play interrupts midweek games. Daraszak competed, but Szekszard eventually rolled to a 96-53 win with Julia Boros and Kathryn Westbeld leading the way. DVTK had an easy 92-51 win over BEAC. It took overtime, but Gyor eventually overcame MTK 89-79. Makenna Marisa had a good game for David Kornei, but they lost to PEAC 80-61. Sopron looked strong in a 103-43 win over Szigetszentmiklos. The day ended with Vasas defeating Cegled 66-49.
