While the rest of the league got a longer break for national team play before Round 7, two teams had their Round 8 game moved forward and Reka Lelik led DVTK in a 71-43 win over PEAC.

Spanish League Round 6

Tragedy after disasters around Valencia meant that their game against Ibaeta was postponed, but the rest of the teams played on Friday before the international break. Ardoi was the only team without a win, but had their best chance so far in the first game of the day and Imani Tate was fantastic in helping them past Celta 81-72. Mariam Coulibaly led Joventut Badalona again, but Estudiantes left with a 76-73 win. Girona made a statement that they need to be considered title contenders after an 82-66 win at Zaragoza. Jairis continued their strong start with a 71-52 win at Araski. Ferrol just edged Ensino 61-59. There was a shocker in Salamanca after Karla Erjavec led Gran Canaria to a 74-67 win over Avenida. Sedis ended the day with a 65-62 win over Gernika and Marina Mata made her professional debut after leaving college early.
