The first semifinal on Friday had the Bay Area Phoenix, the northern group winners, playing having had to make the most roster changes of any team remaining, leaving them with eight available players. Manuela Rios tried to carry Sportiva Italiana to a win with a gaudy triple-double, and they forced overtime twice as the Phoenix had leading scorers Rebecca Harris and Ameela Li foul out, but Mo Bennett and the rest of the remaining players managed to secure a 94-93 win. Southern group winners Union Florida tried to advance to the championship, but Valentina Lopez and Antioquia controlled the rest of the game for a 73-59 win, setting up a pair of rematches on the last day.

The first game on Saturday was a rematch of the southern group’s top two teams and the winner would get the bronze medal. Manuela Rios and Sportiva Italiana looked to avenge their first meeting and took the lead in the second half, but Myriam Alonso and Union Florida recovered for an 80-72 win. The second game was a rematch of the last game from the northern group that was an edgy affair the first time that the two teams met. This game was also close and tense, but Antioquia had the lead for most of the game and got their revenge, remaining the only winner of the competition after a successful title defense with a 61-53 win. Rebecca Harris led the Bay Area Phoenix, which played 7 players, but made a strong debut for teams from the United States in sanctioned international competition.
