Australian League Round 4 November 20th-24th

The round started on Wednesday again and Adelaide was able to pick up their first win after Japreece Dean led them past Sydney 78-54. There were no winless teams after Thursday as Jade Melbourne led Canberra in their 81-80 victory over Zia Cooke and Townsville. All of the teams played once over the weekend, starting with another win for Canberra by a 73-60 win at Geelong on Saturday. After a tough first half, Townsville stifled Adelaide after the break for a 53-47 win. There was a little bit more scoring in Perth where Laeticia Amihere led the hosts to an 84-78 win over Shaneice Swain and Sydney. Sunday’s game had Veronica Burton pacing Bendigo in a 79-71 win over Southside.
