The round started on Wednesday with Perth putting on an absolute shooting clinic with Miela Sowah pacing them in a 106-80 win over Alicia Froling and Townsville. It looked like it would be a rough road trip for Townsville on Friday as they trailed at Adelaide, but Courtney Woods led the way in a late rally to escape 69-68. On Saturday, Shaneice Swain fired Sydney past Geelong 90-55. Veronica Burton and Sami Whitcomb teamed up to lead Bendigo in a 98-78 win over Canberra. Sunday’s game had Miela Sowah leading Perth in scoring again, this time in an 89-82 win over Bec Cole, Naz Hillmon, and Southside.
