Africa Quarterfinals December 12th-13th

The eliminated teams played one final game on Thursday to settle places, not even bothering with semifinals. The two teams put in the 11th place game played first and FAP avoided last place with a 63-50 win over Makomeno. Sporting at least left with another win after a rough title defense and defeated Queens 61-48 in the 9th place game.

All the quarterfinals were played on Friday and Dyaisha Fair and Al Ahly won the first game 89-36 over CNSS. APR was not very convincing, but Shaina Pellington did lead them to a 59-49 win over Friend’s. The next game went to overtime and the hosts finished off their comeback to prevail 61-57 over REG. Stefania Chiziane and Ferroviario finished the day with a 65-44 win over Jeanne d’Arc.
