EuroLeague 2nd Stage Round 3 January 7th-8th

Group E

The round started on Tuesday with Amy Okonkwo and Bourges ready to secure a big road win to put themselves in position to advance, but Schio roared back in the fourth quarter to win 67-62. On Wednesday, Natasha Howard and Cukurova stayed perfect with a 73-53 win over Landes. The loser of the last game would have a very tough path to advancing and Avenida did enough at home to defeat Brno 64-58.

Group F

While Polkowice intends to finish their domestic season, the expense and lack of ability to field a remotely competitive team had them withdrawing from this competition so the standings were updated to reflect their absence. Both remaining games were on Wednesday and Fenerbahce is undefeated and firmly in control after a 92-56 win over Valencia. The winner of the last game would feel better about avoiding the lone remaining elimination place and it was Zaragoza getting the 73-68 win over USK Praha at home.
