It was a busy week in the world of women’s college basketball as South Carolina’s head coach Dawn Staley signed an extension that made her the highest paid coach in women’s college basketball. The University of Washington officially retired former Huskies and current Las Vegas Aces player Kelsey Plum’s jersey, Virginia Tech officially retired former Hokies and current Las Vegas Aces draft pick Elizabeth Kitley’s jersey and Paige Bueckers became the fastest Huskies player to reach 2000 points in program history.
