With the international break looming, all games in this round were scheduled for Friday with one game needing to be moved to after the break. The day’s first game would leave the loser in a tough position to try to stay in the division and it was Jessica Fequiere and Ensino that got the 70-66 win at Ardoi. Valencia trailed Araski early, but built a big lead by halftime on their way to a 69-55 win. Celta held on to an impressive 65-62 win over Zaragoza to pull a game clear of danger. Aina Ayuso and Jairis defeated Nneka Ezeigbo and Gran Canaria 92-78 as the battle of the bottom half of the playoff places will be intense. Migna Toure and Chloe Bibby were excellent for Girona in an 87-67 win over Angela Salvadores and Estudiantes. Awa Fam and Gernika looked set for a big win in their playoff chase, but Avenida was able to force overtime and prevail 79-77. Ferrol got a 62-51 win over Ibaeta as their fourth quarter helped them stay in a playoff place.
