The playoffs started on Saturday and Nia Coffey and Townsville immediately avenged their last regular season loss with a 92-87 win over Ally Wilson, Laeticia Amihere, and Perth. The other series started on Sunday and was not expected to be particularly competitive. Sami Whitcomb and Bendigo quickly built a big lead on Sydney and then coasted for a 76-67 win.
