The two teams at the bottom of the standings are playing a two game series for placement that started on Thursday. Polonia Warszawa took the lead early behind Javyn Nicholson to win 75-61 over Karina Michalek and Bydgoszcz.

Quarterfinals

All four series were in the traditional format of starting with consecutive games on Saturday and Sunday. Overtime started the day and Zaglebie Sosnowiec was able to prevail 78-77 over Agnieszka Skobel and Poznan. Stephanie Jones and top seed Gdynia got on the board with a 75-59 win over Torun. Polkowice’s crisis happened late enough that they did not drop below the playoff places and it was Sleza Wroclaw that drew them and opened with a 108-33 win. Gorzow had been expected to finally play up to their talent level multiple times this season, but may have woken up for real this time after Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Elena Tsineke led them to an 81-67 win over Lublin.
