Two series continued on Thursday as teams were trying to advance to the semifinals or force deciding games on Sunday. Britney Jones and Poznan looked ready to avoid elimination, but KeKe Calloway and Zaglebie Sosnowiec used a strong fourth quarter to win 66-61 and end the series. Stella Johnson and Lublin nearly managed to bring their series back home, but Gorzow controlled overtime and pulled off the seeding upset 94-87 behind Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Elena Tsineke. Both teams hit the road for semifinals games on Wednesday and Thursday next week.
