Women’s College Basketball Players Rankings – Class by Class! Weeks 7-9

Mikayla Blakes of Vanderbilt

Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season with family and friends. I too enjoyed the holiday season with family. As I’m catching up, I’m noticing that it was a tremendous past few weeks in NCAA women’s college basketball. Many upsets took place and many un-ranked teams were very successful in doing so. Notre Dame was upset by both Duke and Georgia Tech in the same week. Illinois upset Maryland. Utah upset TCU. Texas Tech upset Baylor. Victories against the AP Top 25 ranked teams are more possible than ever before, so that means the rankings for this week will be very unusual.

This week’s rankings will be different from my usual week to week rankings as I am ranking three weeks (weeks 7, 8, 9) and so if a team lost one game in those three weeks, they are still included. Normally, I do not include players from teams who lost in the previous week. However, if a team lost two games or more in the past three weeks, they are not included in this week’s rankings.

Listed below are the top 36 seniors, the top 27 juniors, the top 18 sophomores and the top 9 freshmen for the weeks of December 15th, 2025 to January 4th, 2026. You can view the previous week here. Questions? First time viewing the rankings? You can read the FAQ page here.
