This week should have been called the “upset” week. While Americans were off celebrating their Thanksgiving holiday weekend, women’s college basketball teams were participating in holiday tournaments in various destinations across the country. The tournaments led to some interesting results and it resulted in both the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the country being upset on the same day. Parity has arrived and that is great for the game. This means that this week’s rankings are going to look a bit different from what it usually looks like. There was some slight shakeup in the rankings this week, so it may not exactly look like past weeks. There were some deserving players who played well and stepped up when their teams needed them to. My only wish was that some of the games were televised on ESPN so that more people could watch.
Listed below are the top 36 seniors, the top 27 juniors, the top 18 sophomores and the top 9 freshmen for the week of Nov. 25th to Dec. 1st. If you are new to the rankings or if you have questions, please read my FAQ page first. Click here for last week’s list.
*NEW – I have been doing these rankings for a couple of years now, so I thought it would be a fun idea to view past years lists. Click here for last year’s Week 4 rankings. Click here for 2017/2018’s Week 4 rankings. Click here for 2016/2017 Week 4’s rankings.
