With more teams playing in continental competitions, a larger number of games will move from Monday to Sunday this season. Jillian Alleyne and Maccabi Ramat Gan were forced into overtime, but still prevailed 80-77 despite big games from Jazmine Jones and Alisia Jenkins for Ramat Hasharon. Elitzur Holon looks like they could be quite frightening by the end of the season as Courney Hurt, Alexis Tolefree, and Alex Harden were all firing in their 90-76 win over Maccabi Haifa. Monday’s early game had Maccabi Ashdod looking ferocious behind Kalani Brown as they won 103-74 over Breanna Richardson and Herzliya. Elitzur Ramla had their main import trio of Elina Babkina, Shakira Austin, and Bernice Mosby playing well in a 98-82 win over Kenisha Bell and Hapoel Petah Tikva. Things did not go according to plan in the second game for ASA Jerusalem as Danielle Adams tried to lead them after they lost a key player early, but Lauren Manis and Kaila Charles were too much for them to handle in a 95-61 Hapoel Rishon Lezion win.
