Jenifer Munoz and Malvin made sure that they would advance in the first game on Sunday, rolling past the University of Chile 78-53. That meant that Obras simply needed a win against eliminated Felix Perez Cardozo to advance. The hosts got good games from Sidney Cooks, Dahomee Forgues, and Camila Suarez, but it was not enough as Isabelle Gradwell and Ilze Jakobsone made sure that the visitors got a win to end their campaign by an 86-80 margin.
