Women’s College Basketball Players Rankings – Class by Class! Week 1

Saniya Rivers of North Carolina

It was a very chaotic first week of NCAA women’s college basketball as both AP #1 LSU lost to #20 Colorado and #2 UConn lost to NC State. That hasn’t happened for AP Top 2 teams in 25 years since the top 2 teams lost before the second poll was released. That’s not all. There were plenty of teams who upset AP Top 25 teams, such as #7 Ohio State losing to #21 USC. Or #15 Stanford upsetting #9 Indiana. Plenty of great performances occured during the first week and there’s more to come this season, so stay tuned!

Listed below are the top 36 seniors, the top 27 juniors, the top 18 sophomores and the top 9 freshmen for the week of November 6th to November 12th, 2023. You can view the preseason list here. Questions? First time viewing the rankings? You can read the FAQ page here.
