Americas Olympic Pre-Qualifying Day 3 November 12th

The first game on Sunday was the important one in the tournament with the top spot on the line and placement in the February qualifying tournaments. Canada built a first half lead and that was enough for a 77-68 win over Arella Guirantes and Puerto Rico. The results sends Canada to Hungary along with Japan and Spain while Puerto Rico heads to China where France and New Zealand will also play. The last game only had minor rankings implications, but there was still major rivalry pride on the line and hosts Colombia had a solid lead before Daniela Wallen and Venezuela cut into the deficit at the end before falling short 77-72.
