Overseas League Updates March 13th

Hungarian Cup Quarterfinals

The last two quarterfinals were played in the same week as the final games will be played. On Tuesday, Dorottya Budacsik and Vasas surprised PEAC 86-75 in Pecs. The final quarterfinal was in Miskolc on Wednesday and DVTK broke open a close game by shutting out MTK in the second quarter, winning 85-54. DVTK has another matchup with Gyor in the semifinals while Vasas faces Sopron.

Polish League 3rd Place Series Game 1

The series for the bronze medal started on Wednesday. Since it is a two-game format, Sleza Wroclaw hosted the first game, but they lost 62-56. Arka Gdynia brings home the lead for the last game on Saturday.
