Overseas League Updates March 23rd

Turkish League Quarterfinals Game 1

The playoffs started on Saturday with all quarterfinals getting under way before the second games on Monday. There was certainly some expectation that Cukurova would roar to life in the playoffs with a lineup different than what they had run for the most of the regular season and Kahleah Copper helped them win on the road 80-75 against Michaela Onyenwere and Orman. Napheesa Collier and top seed Fenerbahce rolled to an 89-56 win over Botas. Li Yueru and Jovana Nogic paced Besiktas in an 89-71 win over Nesibe Aydin. The last game of the day resulted in a road win after NaLyssa Smith and Bria Hartley led Galatasaray past Khaalia Hillsman and Izmit 90-64.
