Sunday was the final day of competition and it started with the 7th place game where both teams were looking for their first win. Noor Aranki secured many of the available rebounds, but Guatemala lost to Costa Rica 55-39. Cuba ended a disappointing tournament with an 80-75 loss to the US Virgin Islands in the consolation championship. The two teams who were looking to rise to the next level in the confederation met in the bronze medal game and Hazel Ramirez and Angela Rodriguez helped Mexico send their fans home on a winning note after defeating Hillary Martinez and El Salvador 84-64. That set the stage for the championship game to be played and Arella Guirantes and Puerto Rico built up a lead early and then she put on another show for a 95-81 win over Cesarina Capellan and the Dominican Republic.
