Women’s College Basketball Players Rankings – Class by Class! Week 1

Destiny Adams of Rutgers

Wow. What a week. It was interesting and nail-biting to see some of the close games against top opponents and like I’ve stated before, in my preseason women’s college basketball players rankings, that parity is stronger than ever before. SO many more AP ranked Top 25 teams are more prone and likelier than ever to get an upset and so you must watch these games.

If you’re an NCAA women’s college basketball fan, I would suggest five places to keep track of teams and or players this season. First, you need to subscribe to the Her Hoop Stats Substack because they provide coverage for all the top conferences and if you like it, there’s also a podcast that is available on Spotify and YouTube. Second, I would tell you to visit and bookmark Hoopfeed.com because they provide a daily and updated TV/audio schedule of all the NCAA women’s college basketball games.

Third, I would suggest subscribing to the Athletic as they do provide coverage of the top NCAA women’s college basketball stars and superstars as well as the top teams. Fourth, I would suggest bookmarking the ESPN NCAA women’s college basketball page as they also provide coverage throughout the season and their scores schedule is fantastic because it also lists all the scores of all the colleges and not just the AP Top 25 teams. All you must do is click the Division 1 link and all the colleges appear. Finally, as the fifth option, please also visit Mel Greenberg’s website. He’s one of the original women’s college basketball reporters and has covered the sport for 40+ years. He writes a daily report of all the Pennsylvania teams and then writes about what to look forward to for the next day.

Listed below are the top 36 seniors, the top 27 juniors, the top 18 sophomores and the top 9 freshmen for the week of November 4th to November 10th, 2024. You can view the preseason list here. Questions? First time viewing the rankings? You can read the FAQ page here.
