My WNBA coverage for the 2025 season.

Hi everyone, welcome back!

The WNBA season will tip off in less than two weeks on Friday, May 16th. The New York Liberty are the defending WNBA champions, there is a new WNBA expansion team and there will be a potential upcoming WNBA CBA lockout that will occur after the season ends. All of these are interesting news and I will be watching and tracking them on my two active social media accounts. The first link is to my Threads account and the second link is to my Instagram account. I stopped posting on Twitter two years ago when Elon Musk took over ownership of the site and renamed the site X. I hope you come join me and enjoy my Thread posts and Instagram stories/posts.

This WNBA season will be the 29th year of the league and the 17th year that I’ve been watching the league. This will be the ninth year that I will be covering the season on the blog. This will be the third season that I will track the WNBA rookies who have made the cut on their respective team rosters. I will compile bi-weekly reports called the WNBA Rookies Watch to see how these WNBA rookies are playing in their first year of the league. You can read all about the second season of WNBA Rookies Watch here.
