Preseason Women’s College Basketball Players Rankings – Class by Class!

Senior center Lauren Betts of UCLA

Welcome back to another season of women’s college basketball! The 2025/2026 NCAA women’s college basketball season will tip off in two days, on November 3rd. After an intense WNBA season due to the ongoing CBA negotiations, it is now time to turn our attention to women’s college basketball and see which players can break through and make a difference during this season of women’s college basketball.

My women’s college basketball players rankings are divided by class, and I release them on a weekly basis. This will be my seventh season in compiling the preseason rankings and my 10th season in compiling the women’s college basketball players rankings. So much has changed over the years so this season will be difficult, but I will try my best to make the rankings fair and accurate.

The preseason rankings are a combination of what happened last season as well as the expectations of what could potentially happen this season. Listed below are the top 36 seniors, the top 27 juniors, the top 18 sophomores and the top 9 freshmen.
