It’s that time of year again! The NCAA women’s college basketball season is about to tip off and it’s going to be yet another intriguing season. This also means the rankings are back. I am now entering the sixth season of compiling these player rankings and it should be a ton of fun considering the talent level in women’s college basketball right now is very high.
The preseason rankings are a combination of what happened last season as well as the expectations of what could potentially happen this season. The senior class is very deep this season, so there are more than 36 players on the list, followed by the top 27 juniors, top 18 sophomores and the top 9 freshmen.
