As the women’s college basketball season rolls on in conference play, new teams and new faces are beginning to emerge. This is now Week 12 of the women’s college basketball rankings and this was an eye opening week. There are a couple of teams making noise such as Utah and Purdue who have quietly put together a solid conference record so far in their respective conferences. Keep an eye out for those teams in March. Also, North Carolina is starting to make noise as they upset Notre Dame. This could be interesting. As you can see, the results are reflected in this week’s rankings and goes to show that the traditional basketball power teams can be taken down.
