Welcome back to another season of women’s college basketball. The 2026/2027 women’s college basketball season will tip off next week on November 1st. After the conclusion of the WNBA season in which saw historic growth, ratings and interest, it is now time to turn our attention to this upcoming season of women’s college basketball and see which players can break through and make a difference.
My women’s college basketball players rankings are divided by class, and I release them on a weekly basis. This will be my eighth season in compiling the preseason rankings and my 11th season in compiling the women’s college basketball rankings. I will try my best to make the rankings fair and accurate.
The preseason rankings are a combination of what happened last season as well as the expectations of what could potentially happen this season. Listed below are the top 45 seniors, the top 36 juniors, the top 27 sophomores and the top 18 freshmen.
