WNBA Scoring/Rebounds/Assists Milestones to watch for in the 2022 season.

Sylvia Fowles of the Minnesota Lynx.

The 2022 WNBA season is upon us and it’s time to track the annual scoring, rebounding and assists milestones that WNBA players will hit this season. There are several players who are going to hit big milestones. This is the fourth year in which I’ve been tracking these three big milestones on the blog. You can view last year’s post to see which WNBA players hit their respective scoring/rebounds/assists milestones.

In order to make this list, the WNBA player has had to have reached a certain number of points/rebounds/assists prior in their seasons to have a shot at hitting their milestone. For example, Dewanna Bonner needs 260 points to reach 6000 career points this season. Bonner has scored over 353 or more points in all of her prior seasons and so she is more than capable of hitting that milestone.

Sylvia Fowles can make WNBA history when she tries to become the first ever WNBA player to reach 4000 career rebounds.

My inspiration comes from Kevin Brown, who started an amazing WNBA website devoted to tracking these statistics and more. Kurtis Zimmerman also has an amazing WNBA and women’s college basketball website that has so much knowledge and information. And, of course, there’s always the amazing Her Hoop Stats which contains much more deeper statistics for any WNBA player. I would highly suggest bookmarking all three websites for the upcoming WNBA season.
