The WNBA season is officially over. Congratulations to the Las Vegas Aces on winning the franchise’s first WNBA Championship and to coach Becky Hammon on winning her first championship as a coach.
It’s now time to look back at the WNBA season and revel on how quickly 4 months flew by. The league announced that 36 games would be played, which is the most games ever scheduled in a WNBA season.
For me personally, it was my ninth season in writing or blogging about the league. However, this season, my sister’s wedding took place, so I was not as active as I have been in prior seasons due to planning and organizing the events.
I was however active on Twitter. Other than that, it was a pretty eventful season and I can’t believe that it is over. My attention now turns to the FIBA Women’s World Cup with a special focus on the Canadian team.
