The usual Wednesday game to start the round saw Tiffany Mitchell lead Melbourne to an 84-78 win over Lauren Nicholson and Townsville. Lauren Jackson turned back the clock on Thursday to lead Southside past Lauren Scherf and Perth 83-74. The league’s two strugglers met on Saturday and it was Keely Froling and Shyla Heal helping Sydney get their first win 92-80 over Canberra. Karlie Samuelson and Lauren Nicholson paced Townsville in an 82-79 win over Kayla Thornton and Southside. Kelsey Griffin and Bendigo stayed perfect with an 84-75 win Adelaide.
