Australian League Round 12 January 25th-29th
The round started on Wednesday with a fun game that saw Sami Whitcomb and Perth build a lead to hold on to a 92-88 win and pull even with Bendigo in the loss column. On Friday, Rae Burrell and Canberra were close to an upset, but Zitina Aokuso and Townsville did enough to win 81-80. Saturday’s game was also close as Kayla Thornton and Southside edged Adelaide 73-72. Keely Froling and Sydney had a spoiler role on their minds early against Townsville on Sunday, but the visitors prevailed 82-78. Without their star, Perth leaned on Amy Atwell and they fended off Tiffany Mitchell, Kristy Wallace, and Melbourne 91-82.

A busy Saturday as the last full round before the break started with Reka Dombai leading Gyor past MTK 97-74. Ana Vojtulek and BEAC rolled to a 92-57 win over Szigetszentmiklos. Virag Kiss and PEAC looked set to record an important win for postseason seeding, but DVTK roared back to escape 69-65. Sam Fuehring led Csata, but Sopron won 75-43. Orsolya Toth paced Vasas in a 95-66 win over Cegled.
