The first round after the international break started with one game on Wednesday and Bursa chose to coast past Nuran Tutsak and Hatay, which officially sealed their fate, for an 89-76 win instead of trying to run up the score as they get ready for some critical games down the stretch. Thursday started with Cukurova’s 91-47 win over Destanni Henderson and Antalya. Napheesa Collier and Fenerbahce rolled to a 100-54 win over Tarsus. Jaime Nared was fantastic, playing the whole game as Khaalia Hillsman also helped Izmit prevail 99-90 in overtime over Katarina Zec, Emma Cannon, Jessica Thomas, and Nesibe Aydin. Botas is not sitting in a playoff spot, but Lyndra Weaver leading them to a 71-61 win does have them holding the advantage in the loss column for the last place. Damiris Dantas and Michaela Onyenwere were impressive for Orman and a strong final frame got them the 102-87 win over Aaryn Ellenberg-Wiley, Dearica Hamby, and Kayseri. A battle of city rivals figured into the jostling for playoff seeding and the trio of Li Yueru, Jovana Nogic, and Dana Evans got Besiktas the 104-89 win over Teaira McCowan and Galatasaray.
