Women’s College Basketball Players Final Overall Rankings for 2024-2025 season – Class by Class!

Freshman guard Jaloni Cambridge of Ohio State

The 2024-2025 NCAA women’s college basketball regular season ends this week, and it was filled with so many more upsets than I can remember and compiling these rankings week by week was more difficult than in previous years. A lot more AP Top 25 teams were upset and there was an increase in parity than in previous years. Even among the AP Top 10 teams, there were plenty of upsets.

It was difficult putting the weekly rankings together because of the upsets and the losing records. It was hard for me to put a star player in the weekly rankings whose team had a losing record or had losses throughout the week. I tried to make the rankings fair and therefore a ton of unranked teams as well as the top teams in each conference got to see their best players in the rankings for that week. Therefore, you will see a decrease in the number of players who made the final overall rankings list.

To make the Final Overall Rankings list, the players needed to be on the list for eight or more weeks out of the sixteen weeks that I posted on a weekly basis throughout the NCAA women’s college basketball regular season. The players listed in the honourable mention lists made the list seven weeks and just fell short of making the final overall list for the 2024-2025 season.

Listed below are the top 11 seniors, the top 11 juniors, the top 7 sophomores and the top 5 freshmen for the 2024-2025 NCAA women’s college basketball regular season. You can view last season’s final overall rankings list here. Questions? First time viewing the rankings? You can read the FAQ page here.
