Group B:

Mali looked to stave off elimination, but Serbia wore them down on their way to an 81-68 win with Sasa Cado leading the way. France knew that a win would seal a quarterfinal place for them and they started well. Japan closed the gap by halftime, but fell behind again late to lose 67-53. Australia knew that a win would advance them to the next round, but down a player and facing a tough Canada team, they ended up in a back and forth game, but it was their turn in the fourth quarter and they won 75-72. The result also sent Serbia through and eliminated Japan.
